The Transfer Credit Database is a tool that allows students to view how courses at other institutions have transferred into Plymouth State University. The information provided in the Transfer Credit Database does not substitute for an official evaluation of transfer credit by the Office of the Registrar for current students and the Admissions Office for incoming students, as the database is constantly being updated. No transfer credit is official until credits appear on the student's PSU transcript. Grades for transfer coursework do not calculate into the PSU GPA.

How to Use This Database:
  • Some transfer courses have previously been evaluated as equivalent to courses offered at PSU. For these courses, the PSU equivalent course will display in the "PSU Equivalent" column.
  • When a course has been evaluated as not equivalent to a specific PSU course, it will appear with a subject and generic X999 course code (e.g. EN 1999, or HIDI 2999).
  • If a course has been approved to satisfy a HoME (general education) requirement, this will display in the HoME column.
    • Users can filter previously evaluated courses by HoME category. To filter courses, click the "HoME Categories" drop-down menu and select the HoME category of interest. Click the "Get Courses" button.
      • If the HoME category of interest is not listed in the drop-down menu, no courses from the institution have been evaluated to satisfy that HoME requirement.
